I approached Nabbr about some miscellaneous design work, and ended up developing mockups for their main website. It's worth noting that these designs, unlike a lot of what I've done previously, are entirely original. They're devoid of any initial structure that I was asked to grow, weed-like, into (not that I mind hacking around in someone else's framework).
Nabbr develops viral marketing via artist-specific Flash players, embeddable in Myspace and the like, that have portal-like links to the musician's website, iTunes, Myspace Music page, and so forth.
They wanted a CMS-powered site that could not only serve as a clearinghouse for these players, but as a presentable corporate identity: attractive to fans and investors alike.
I took their existing color schemes, chose to use some "web 2.0 standbys" in my design, and pulled strongly from my own professional aesthetic (clean, fun, lightweight, and user-friendly interface).
Technology utilized: Adobe Photoshop CS2.
